South Gloucestershire’s Armed Forces Day event celebrates and thanks our serving personnel and veterans for their service to our country.
The event is being held on Saturday 24 June 2017 and will take place at Staple Hill and Page Park.
There will be a parade consisting of the Military, TA, Cadets (Air, Sea and Army), Scouts, Veterans and Marching Band through the High Street and Broad Street, culminating in Page Park. We plan to have a variety of activities performed by the various branches of our armed forces including the TA, Army Careers, Police, Fire and Rescue and local community groups.

Local services, representation and government
You are encouraged to attend South Gloucestershire’s Community Engagement Forums (CEFs) to have your say about local issues and provide feedback on areas of interest.
There are 14 CEFs across South Gloucestershire that each meet three times per year. These meetings provide a place where local needs, issues and projects can be discussed, and will feature officers and councillors from South Gloucestershire Council along with partner agencies including Police, Fire, councils and various local voluntary and community groups.
